Grandma helps Louie

Little Louie wasn’t eating well and lost a lot of weight. We’ve responded by feeding him every two hours, day and night, with a combination of Mum’s best, followed by Mum’s best in a bottle when he gets lazy, and then Mum’s best in a syringe when he gets too lazy for even a bottle. Grandma has been helping too!

It’s been working. He’s gained 5 ounces in the last day or so.

Product photography day

Today was product photography day. I took photos of robotic surgical equipment for one of my clients and then used the same set up to take a few other snaps.

These are flowers that Vivi picked and arranged.

On a completely different tangent, while recovering from a viscious respiratory virus last week, I spent more time than usual watching YouTube videos and reading blogs about photography. Here are a few I really liked.

This website has some great lifestyle photos of kids and families.

And for some reason that I don’t quite understand, I’ve been enjoying Andrew Kearns’ video blog. I especially like his vlogs from Iceland.

And although Johnny Patience doesn’t post that often, I still love his film photos.

Last night's sunset

Staying close to home

With the baby’s due date a little over a week away, we are staying close to home. We wanted to go to the coast to stay cool, but with the roads to get there jammed, the risk of not being able to get back if needed was too great. So, we headed for Santana row and opted for an early morning coffee in the shade, followed by a delicious lunch in the shade, and then coffee and cake in the shade. Notice a theme?

And in case you didn’t already know it’s mostly about Sakura… and that Sakura loves Vivi…
