Home developing is fun!

I took this photo at 7:30 tonight. I developed the negatives straight away, let them dry for an hour, and scanned them. By 11pm they were on the internet! This was only the third roll of film I’ve put through my Mamiya 6 x 7 camera and I like the results. Too bad my model was a bit grumpy. She was missing Kaori who was out with friends.

My first home-developed photos

I’ve started to develop my own film and I’d forgotten how much fun it is — the last time was in high school. My cameras are better now and I’m using a scanner to digitize the negatives so no more darkroom printing.

These are from my first couple-of- rolls and a Leica M6.

Deer rich hike

There were whole herds of deer around on my hiking route this morning. The stags were all together in one meadow, and the does and fawns were in another meadow. I’ve never seen this before. It was just like those nights when I go out with the boys and Kaori goes out with the girls. Either that or the girls just sent the boys away because they “needed to talk”.
